Snyder,</span> National Master, is a highly regarded chess educator whose students have won thirty-six infividual first place titles (a national record) in championship sections at the National Scholastic Championships. In 1983 Mr. Snyder founded the "Chess for Everyone" club which grew to become one of the largest and most successful youth clubs in the nation.  <p> <a href="articles/article3.php">Fort Collins Coloradoan</a> (over 330K)</p><p><img alt="bryan_yue_small" src="flasheditor/data/upimages/bryan_yue_small.jpg" align="right" border="1" hspace="15" vspace="5">Our kids do great at the 2005 Colorado State Scholastic Championships</p><p>  </p><p> Nine-year-old Bryan Yue at the CFJ February Scholastic Tournament in preparation for the State Championships. </p> <p>Mr. Snyder&#8217;s students Jay Kranzdorf (Boulder) and Bryan Yue (Fort Collins) become co-champions in the K-3 Section at the Colorado State Scholastic Championships held in Denver. <title><![CDATA[International Chess Exchange with Woodbridge, England - July, 2004]]></title>

<DIV style="TEXT-ALIGN: left">World Champion Gary Kasparov with the Chess For Everyone club team in London. 
<P>Eight "Chess For Everyone" students traveled with coach Robert Snyder to England for our first exchange with the Woodbridge Junior Chess Club. Our students won the match 26.5 to 21.5 and had an opportunity to visit the London Chess Centre where they met with World Champion Gary Kasparov. Mr. Snyder also gave a lecture and did a book signing at the London Chess Centre. We toured London, Cambridge as well as some coastal towns.</P>

<p class="reg">"Chess For Everyone" took 4 students to compete in the K-12 Premier Section of the Northern California State Scholastic Championships. Our team consisting of Richard Mehlinger (4.5-1.5, winning an individual trophy), Seth Ackerman (4-2, winning an individual trophy), Matthew Johnson and Rodney Regan took home the first place trophy.

<title><![CDATA[National Youth Action Championships]]></title>

<description><![CDATA[<p><b>Rockford, Illinois - November 16-17, 2002</b></p>
<p>"Chess For Everyone" took 9 students with Jesse Cohen of Longmont, Colorado scoring 9-0 in the K-12 section to win his firs National Championship title. He became Mr. Snyder's 35th first place winner in a championship section at a National Scholastic Championship. Brandon Cooksey of Fort Collins and Andrew Smith of Cheyenne scored 7-2 to tie for second in the K-12 section. The "Chess For Everyone" team also got first place, 5.5 points ahead of the field in the same section. This was the 10th time one of Mr. Snyder's teams won first place in a championship section at a National Scholastic Championship.
