indexPlayerChess For Everyone was founded in  1983 and grew to become one of the nation's  largest and most active private chess clubs for  youth. Based in Fort Collins, Colorado, members  receive training in person and through the  Internet under National Chess Master Robert M.  Snyder (International rating: 2405, USCF rating: 2306). Mr. Snyder's  students have won first place 36 times (a national  record) as individuals in championship sections at  the National Scholastic Championships. His teams  have won first place in National Scholastic Championships 10 times.

"Chess For Everyone" has run National  Camps since 1989 with students from all over the  United States, Europe and Asia attending. "Chess For Everyone" has introduced chess to over 170,000 students at school chess  presentations.. The "Chess For  Everyone" Book (Robert M. Snyder, Random House, 1991) and "Unbeatable Chess Lessons for Everyone" (Robert M. Snyder, Random House, 2003) became the #1 and #2 best selling chess books in the United States. "Chess For Everyone" has also  produced a video covering basic rules and  strategy. "Chess For Everyone" is a Registered  Service mark through the US Trademark Office. Currently Mr. Snyder is working on his "Chess for Everyone" series of books (http://www.wheatmark.com/) and upon the completion of the main series will be providing training to chess teacher's and coaches who want to improve their teaching skills and/or their own game!
